Viking Designer 1 - I love it!

I purchased on ebay my Viking Designer 1 a few months ago.  It is the old style with the floppy disk drive, but I love it!  It came with the Free Motion attachment as well as the stitch regulator.  The quilt that I am giving my mom for Christmas, I used this attachement.  It is a King size.  I'm not sure I will do that again, but I did get lots of practice with free motion.  I also have been experimenting with the embroidery attachment as you can see in the attached photos.

We made iron carriers that double as small ironing pads.  Some of us made small ones, others made larger ones.  This is the one I made because I have a small Rowena iron that I take with me to our Beelet meetings.  Ladies how about posting photos of yours?
